What are the dining options inside the gates?
The Black Bear Pub is located on the upper floor of the Clubhouse and can be reached at 706-268-1253 for reservations. The menu is available on our website at www.bigcanoepoa.org.
Duffers is located to the left of the cart barn behind the Clubhouse and is a grab-and-go sandwich shop. They can be reached at 706-268-3273.
Where do I take my garbage/recycling?
Our recycling and garbage facility is located just to the right of the north gate entrance. Please note the proper receptacles when separating your recycling. It is open 24 hours a day.
How do I allow a guest to enter the gate?
Only the homeowner or rental management company can call-in guests. All communication goes directly to them and they will contact the gate for you.
Are there playgrounds for kids?
We have two playgrounds. One is located beside Playfield Park, just below the dam. The other is located in our Wildcat Recreation Center, to the left of the North Gate exit.
How do I use the amenities?
Guests may make reservations to use any amenity by contacting them directly. An amenity fee schedule is located in this packet along with their contact information.
What trails do you have and how can I find them?
A trail map is enclosed in this packet and you can also stop by the Wellness Center for additional copies and to ask questions about various hiking options.
Where can I buy souvenirs?
You can purchase clothing, souvenirs, and lots more at the Golf Pro Shop, the Racquet Club, and the Wellness Center.
